AAPHD Foundation General Fund
Where it's needed most
The General Fund accepts gifts that are "not specifically designated by the donor and provide general support of the overall mission and operation of the foundation." These contributions offer flexibility — allowing the Foundation to "use the funds where it is most needed."
How the fund works
The AAPHD Foundation Committee may recommend spending from this fund for special programs or projects. A historical example: the 2011 Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives initiative, which involved 35 dental organizations.
Any contributions not designated for other foundation funds are automatically deposited here.
How to give
Contribute directly through the Foundation's pledge portal. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
